Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentations to communicate proposed design solutions effectively.
- Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories that align with the design concept and meet project specifications.
- Create detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications for construction and installation purposes.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless implementation of design plans.
- Source materials, fabrics, and furnishings from various suppliers, considering quality, cost, and availability.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and innovative design techniques to enhance design offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in residential design.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong artistic and technical skills, with the ability to translate design concepts into reality.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and space planning.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently on multiple projects.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
