Summary 

Our client is a well-known, highly successful Managed Service Provider (MSP) with locations in Phoenix, AZ and the Central Coast of CA (Santa Cruz, CA).  They are in immediate need of hiring a Regional Sales Manager to play a key role in the growth and expansion of their customer base and revenue. This role is responsible for supporting a team and growing business through sales of IT Managed Services and Unified Communications (UCaaS)

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Grow customer base and new sales of Managed IT Services and UCaaS solutions, by supporting a small team and direct engagement with prospective customers.
  • Build and lead an effective sales team, nurturing their potential and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Meet annual and quarterly sales quotas, ensuring the team is well-equipped to exceed targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns and lead generation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain territory, team, and individual sales plans and goals.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from marketing conversion, initial customer engagement to closed sales.
  • Prospect and qualify potential new customers using various direct and indirect methods.
  • Promote the sale of bundled products to ensure the optimal solution for the customer.
  • Develop key accounts and manage customer relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling various products and services they offer.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of IT, Cloud, Networking and Communications to best position their products and services to meet their customer’s needs.
  • Maintain sufficient knowledge of our customer’s businesses to recognize opportunities and be perceived by the customer as a problem solver.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with third party partners that help them deliver full solutions to customers.
  • Create face-to-face presentations and proposals, assist the sales team with building their proposals.
  • Co-present solutions with sales team members to existing and prospective clients.
  • Act in a consultative role to the customer to ensure that we are adding value to their business.
  • Participate in trade shows and other events to prospect for new business in-line with market strategy.
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with ongoing developments.
  • Collaborate with our technology experts to understand and communicate the value of our IT, Networking, Cybersecurity, and Unified Communications Products.
  • Monitor and track sales performance, progress, and metrics.
  • Ensure all sales information is current in CRM and maintain dashboards.
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports.
  • Manage all selling expenses within the established travel & expense budgets.

Qualifications & Requirements  

  • 4 years experience in B2B technology sales with a strong, proven record achieving revenue goals.
  • Experience managing and motivating sales teams as well as sales support teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business or Sales and Marketing, or the equivalent in work experience.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience mentoring and developing team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong customer service orientation, solutions minded, with excellent follow up
  • Proven to establish trust through high integrity, transparency and approachability.
  • Experience structuring, negotiating and executing complex agreements
  • Fundamental understanding of IT service management best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of IT, Networking, Cybersecurity, Internet, Cloud, Communications and UCaaS.
  • Experience and understanding of CRM systems, preferably HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with G-Suite.

  • Competitive base salary (commensurate of one’s experience) plus commissions & bonuses
  • 6 Paid Holidays per year
