About the Role
We are currently seeking a Structural Drafter to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in translating structural engineering concepts into precise, detailed drawings that guide construction. The ideal candidate will be skilled in computer-aided design (CAD) and/or BIM software, detail-oriented, and experienced in structural drafting for a variety of building types.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed structural drawings and plans using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software, under the supervision of structural engineers.

Draft construction documents including foundations, framing, floor plans, sections, and details.

Update and revise drawings based on markups and design changes from engineers and project managers.

Assist with 3D modeling of structural systems for coordination and visualization.

Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, compliance with company standards, and adherence to applicable codes.

Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other drafters to support multidisciplinary coordination.

Maintain organized documentation and version control of project drawings.
Qualifications

Associate’s degree or technical diploma in drafting, design technology, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in structural drafting, preferably in an architectural or engineering firm.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit; experience with BIM workflows is a plus.

Familiarity with structural systems including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.

Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings and specifications.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Bluebeam, Navisworks, or other coordination tools.

Knowledge of local building codes and construction standards.

Exposure to projects in commercial, healthcare, residential, or institutional sectors.
