Our client is a leading Managed IT Solutions Company located in San Diego, CA, with a long term government-based DoD contract and is in immediate need of an IT Help Desk Support technician who is comfortable with traveling to various sites throughout the US. Duties & Responsibilities
- End-User assistance
- Point person with Windows Desktop related issues
- Assist with Windows Servers
- Monitors alert systems and take appropriate action as per guidelines.
- Ability to use various messages in an event log to affect repairs.
- Receive escalated service requests requiring an enhanced response.
- New User On-boarding
- Network Services and Equipment Installation
- LAN/WAN Installation and Maintenance Support
- Network Hardware Support and Installation
- Door card access, wander guard, lighting, HVAC
Qualifications & Requirements
- DOD IAT level II Certification
- CompTIA Security+ or similar
- Experience with network equipment, and surveillance
- Experience with Windows desktop and server operating systems
- Experience writing proposals for technical solutions to fulfill business needs.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity and technology
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Valid Driver License and ability to drive to customer locations when required.
- US Citizenship required
