Our client is a well-established Southern California general contractor specializing in ground-up and remodel projects for major restaurant and fuel brands such as Jack in the Box, Popeyes, Del Taco, ARCO, and ampm. With a small, tight-knit team and a steady pipeline of work, they pride themselves on efficiency, clear communication, and delivering quality projects on schedule.
The Project Manager will oversee multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously — managing all phases from preconstruction through closeout. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and extensive experience in restaurant or retail fuel construction. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively with field superintendents, ownership, and clients to achieve successful outcomes.

Manage all phases of assigned projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and closeout.

Oversee 3–4 active projects in coordination with the project team, controller, and field superintendents.
 - 
Prepare, review, and track bids and subcontractor scopes using Bid Mail and Blue Book.
 - 
Manage project budgets and financial tracking using Master Builder.
 - 
Maintain detailed project schedules, reports, and cost forecasts.
 - 
Ensure all work meets plans, specifications, safety, and quality standards.
 - 
Lead subcontractor meetings, issue RFIs and change orders, and manage project documentation.
 - 
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and verify compliance with project objectives.
 - 
Foster strong working relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
 
Qualifications & Requirements
- 
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management, preferably in restaurant or fuel station projects.
 - 
Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word; experience with Master Builder, Bid Mail, and Blue Book preferred.
 - 
Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
 - 
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
 - 
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
 - 
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
