The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of interior painting experience and a strong background in surface preparation, paint application, and finish work. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Surface Preparation: Thoroughly clean, sand, and patch surfaces to ensure a smooth, paint-ready finish.

  • Painting: Apply paint, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers in line with project specifications.

  • Color Matching: Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired tone and finish.

  • Surface Protection: Properly cover and protect furniture, floors, and non-painted surfaces before beginning work.

  • Cleanup: Maintain a tidy work environment by cleaning tools, removing debris, and restoring work areas to original condition after project completion.

  • Quality Assurance: Inspect finished surfaces for uniformity, touch up as needed, and ensure work meets company quality standards.

  • Safety Compliance: Follow all company and OSHA safety protocols during preparation, painting, and cleanup tasks.

 

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of proven interior painting experience (residential and/or commercial)

  • Proficient in various painting techniques and tools (rollers, brushes, sprayers)

  • Strong knowledge of paint types, surface preparation, and finish applications

  • Ability to read and follow project specifications and color guides

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship

  • Reliable transportation and ability to work at different properties across Delmar and surrounding areas

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong communication and time management skills

  • Must provide references and/or a portfolio of past work upon request
