Duties & Responsibilities

Manage client expectations throughout all phases of the project

Provide project leadership and supervisory oversight

Ensure project document control by keeping all documents complete, current, and properly managed

Manage and prepare cost proposals and change orders
-
Develop project budgets and manage buy-out/contracting processes

Perform project accounting tasks including preparing Owner billings and reviewing/approving Subcontractor progress payments

Maintain budgets and control costs throughout the project lifecycle

Manage submittals, RFIs, and all project documentation requirements

Develop and manage CPM schedules

Oversee project subcontractors, including coordination, procurement of materials and equipment, budget monitoring, and billing management

Coordinate with architects, designers, owners, subcontractors, and field personnel
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Experience in commercial and/or public works construction, managing multiple projects or a single large, complex project
-
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, or other industry-related programs preferred
-
Strong understanding of current construction methods, materials, and regulations
-
Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple activities and teams efficiently
-
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project or other scheduling software

Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history

Experience on projects within larger school bond programs (e.g., SDUSD, LAUSD)

Experience using Procore project management software
-
Experience in Higher Education and Healthcare market sectors preferred
