Project Manager (Aviation & Land Development)

Summary
Our client is a leading general contractor in the Charlotte, NC area and they are in immediate need of an experienced Project Manager to join their Land Development division.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop scope, schedule, budget, and coordinate with internal and external sub-consultants.
- Conduct periodic design team meetings to inform and resolve issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely billings to clients and make accounts receivable a priority.
- Perform QC reviews and coordinate QA process by company policy.
- Assist in formulating plans, cost estimates, timeframes, and specifications of projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must possess a BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Civil 3D experience is a plus
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience and PE required (reciprocity in 3 months acceptable)
- Demonstrated experience with residential, commercial, mixed-use, and/or industrial site development projects
- Demonstrated business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills.
- Analytical skills with the ability to prepare statistical reports.
- Ability to work well independently and on a team.
- Ability to communicate ideas and technical information to staff, supervisors, and clients in a professional manner.
- Must have strong leadership skills with ability to mentor younger staff
- Must have ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with project team and client
- Ability to delegate and follow-up efficiently
- Ability to travel as necessary to meet the needs of the position. Valid Driver’s License Required.
