JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Warehouse Manager will provide leadership, support, advocacy, and vision to multiple business unit locations and is responsible for managing all warehouse activities in an assigned territory.

 

SALARY RANGE: $105,000.00 – $120,000.00  annually (companywide)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in creating and communicating business plans to the Warehouse teams and/or local manager. Connect plans to regional goals, and the organization’s broader mission.
  • Achieve financial goals.
  • High level of customer satisfaction and employee morale.
  • Work with assigned locations to ensure they are aware and understand their goals and help guide them to achieve each goal.
  • Ensure warehouse teams are leading their associates to conduct cycle counts as well as following proper procedures to address overall warehouse organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through appropriate channels in the operation. 
  • Delegate and ensure the coordination and execution of predictive / preventative maintenance plans through the maintenance management system for the facility.
  • Holds self and staff directly accountable for adherence to standards, policies, and regulations.
  • Establish formal and informal communications with local teams and/or local managers to ensure teamwork and collaboration.
  • Develops self, staff, and employees for advancement and contribution to success of the business.
  • Ensure monthly OSHA compliance training is conducted according to schedule requirements.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of construction tools and equipment, have workable knowledge of industry technological developments and best practices.
  • Plan annually with local team and/or local warehouse manager to have appropriate workforce levels and forecasting large equipment purchase(s) at each location for the coming year.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 5+ years leadership experience in a construction or warehouse environment leading multiple departments; Bachelors’ degree preferred.
  • Equipment or Construction background preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and allocate resources.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of developing, implementing, and utilizing process and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate resources to meet internal business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated successful application of managerial and supervisory skills.
  • Demonstrated skills or knowledge of budgeting and financial analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical ability.
  • Ability to operate a computer and supporting software packages.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to effectively implement change.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and lead teams.
  • Ability to effectively manage conflict.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
