Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily field activities on multi-family projects to ensure milestone dates and overall schedule completion are achieved.
  • Develop and maintain short-interval look-ahead schedules to coordinate upcoming project events, proactively addressing any issues to facilitate timely solutions.
  • Manage and enforce the project site safety plan, fostering a culture that prioritizes safety, health, and cleanliness at all times.
  • Coordinate construction activities to ensure work is performed systematically and aligns with industry best practices and contractual standards.
  • Establish and uphold all dimensional controls on-site, including engagement with third-party survey and layout personnel as required.
  • Ensure all installations meet quality standards, including precise workmanship related to alignment, leveling, and finish.
  • Obtain necessary inspections and thoroughly document quality aspects throughout the construction process.
  • Maintain strict compliance with all contract terms, legal requirements, and community regulations for each project.
  • Administer client-specific programs, such as site rules, safety protocols, and security measures.
  • Participate in pre-construction, progress, and staff meetings to facilitate project communication and coordination.
  • Monitor self-performed activities to ensure adherence to budget constraints and project goals.
  • Manage project scope changes and ensure the most current documents are used to prevent rework.
  • Administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and agreements to ensure all terms and scopes are met.
  • Oversee punch list completion and project closeout processes to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate daily paperwork, including timecards, field reports, schedule updates, and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with supporting work groups, such as client IS departments, vendors, and security teams.
  • Assist with proposal schedules, review estimates, support proposal creation, and participate in project interviews.
  • Engage in company marketing and business development activities as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support company objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Demonstrated ground-up construction experience, specifically in multi-family environments.
  • Associate’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent, or Journeyman status in a building trade from an accredited organization, combined with supervisory construction experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction means and methods related to commercial and institutional building projects.
  • Proficiency with construction industry software, including spreadsheets, email, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Current safety credentials, such as OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
